What will your legacy be?
A planned gift costs nothing today and can make a lasting difference for children in foster and kinship care.
Common ways to give
- A gift in your will or trust. Name LOTC for a dollar amount, a percentage, or what remains after other gifts.
- A beneficiary designation. List LOTC on a retirement account, life insurance policy or bank account.
- A gift from your IRA. If you are 70½ or older, you can give directly from your IRA, and it can count toward your required minimum distribution.
- Stock, real estate or other assets. Giving an asset that has grown in value may avoid capital gains tax.
