What it is

A Bag of Hope is a personalized duffel bag we pack for a child in foster or kinship care. The bag is embroidered with the child's name in their favorite color and filled with things they need and want. It also includes a personalized handwritten note and an age-appropriate Bible.

Why it matters

Many children arrive at a foster care placement carrying their belongings in trash bags. We believe they deserve more dignity than a trash bag. A Bag of Hope says that this child was expected, is known, and matters.
