The Just Like You Scholarship is a financial program that covers the cost of extracurricular activities, including sports teams, skill lessons, school trips and supplies.
Why it matters
Being a child in foster care is hard enough, and the last thing most kids want is to feel different. The Just Like You Scholarship funds the ordinary parts of childhood, so a child in care gets to be just another kid doing the things they love.

Who can request a Just Like You Scholarship?
Licensed foster or kinship caregivers, social workers and GALs can request a Just Like You Scholarship for any child in foster or kinship care across our service area.
How are expenses covered?
Caregivers cover the cost up front and then submit a Just Like You request form via our website. Once eligibility is established, reimbursement is processed.
