Partner with us.
We've partnered with local churches and businesses for over a decade. However your team wants to show up, we'll help you rally around the foster and kinship care community.
Ways to partner
Hover or tap any of these to see what it looks like.
-
A gift of any size — one-time or monthly — goes straight into programs. 90% of every dollar reaches children in care.
-
Shop the Wishlist Wednesday list, or send a bin of the week's most-needed items, and it ships straight to our Gastonia office.
-
Bring your team for a half-day Bag-Pack, a Christmas wrap night, or a recurring office shift.
-
Underwrite Bags of Hope, Bridge Camp, Shoes of Hope, or Christmas — for a season or multi-year — with recognition to match.
-
Collect hygiene products, school supplies, or comfort items like blankets and stuffed animals at your office, church, or school.
-
Commit to praying for strength for our staff, healing for the children, and encouragement for foster and kinship families.
-
Restaurants and shops donate a portion of a day's sales; we bring the volunteers and spread the word.
How your business can help
What partnership looks like
Business partners don't get a logo on a wall and a thank-you. Business partners get one real conversation about what your company actually does well — and we build the partnership around that, not around a generic giving menu.
How current partners show up
- Cintas Corporation uses its existing delivery routes to ship Bags of Hope into remote North Carolina counties. Logistics is the gift.
- Handel's Ice Cream donated 100% of a Tuesday's sales to LOTC — and Yahoo News covered it.
- Chick-fil-A (local franchises) partners through their grant cycles.
- Big Red's Cafe (Kings Mountain) hosts donation Tuesdays and events.
- QDS (Quality Data Systems) — Sean Farrell chairs our Development Committee and his Lionheart Foundation underwrites major initiatives.
- Cintas, Party Reflections, Magnera Corporation, PSS K12 — represented on our board through their leadership; partnerships move through real human relationships.
Ways your business can partner
- Sponsor a program. Bags of Hope, Bridge Camp, Christmas — multi-year underwriting available.
- Adopt holiday wishlists at scale. Several Charlotte-area employers adopt 25–50 lists annually.
- Match employee giving. Most major employers will; we'll help you set it up.
- Donate goods or services in-kind. Logistics, printing, photography, legal, HR, accounting, IT.
- Volunteer days. Bring your team for a half-day pack at our office.
- Hope Within Reach naming opportunities. Multi-year capital commitments welcomed.
How to start

How your church can help
Ways your church can partner
- Foster Parent Night Out & babysitting. Give caregivers a complimentary dinner and a breather while your team cares for the kids — feeding them, playing games, making crafts.
- Donation drives. Organize a collection of hygiene products, school supplies, or comfort items like stuffed animals and blankets.
- Financial partnership. Give directly to the programs that reach kids — Bags of Hope, Life Box, Bridge Camp, and more — and see exactly where your dollars go.
- Wishlist support. Help fund Bags of Hope so every child entering care receives a personalized duffel bag instead of a trash bag.
- Prayer. Commit to praying for strength for our staff, healing for the children, encouragement for foster families, and unity across the community.
- Volunteer together. Bring your congregation to our events and encourage members to serve throughout the year.
