Dan Hooks, CERP is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Party Reflections, Inc, a full-service special event rental company with locations in Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem NC, and Columbia, SC. He is the second-generation leader of the once family-owned company that has been in operation since 1958 in Charlotte. Party Reflections, Inc. operates out of over 300,000 square feet of warehouses in the North and South Carolina region with over 200 employees. Dan began his career delivering equipment for the company in 1987 and worked his way to president of the organization by 1995.
Dan has been a member of the American Rental Association for over 25 years serving on numerous committees and was appointed to the ARA Board as chair of the Party and Event Services SIG in 2017. He was elected to be President of the ARA for 2021 and served as Board Chair for ARA in 2022.
Locally, he is a past president of the Charlotte Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) now known as ILEA (International Live Events Association) and has been a member of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), ATA, and MATRA for many years. Dan also served on the board of The Harvest Center for 3 years assisting the situationally homeless population of Charlotte.
